The baby blues period starts after the delivery of the infant and finishes when the mother’s body has almost come back to its pre-pregnant state. This period, for the most part, continues for six to eight weeks and includes the mother advancing through numerous progressions, both emotionally and physically, while figuring out how to manage all the progressions and modification required with turning into another mother.
